History and Facts
The World’s Biggest Flower Park, known as the Miracle Garden, has quickly captured the global spotlight since its inception, emerging as a top draw for visitors to Dubai.
Its sheer size is awe-inspiring, but equally remarkable is its unconventional location deep within the desert of the Arjan area in Dubailand, far removed from the emirate’s coastline. Unlike a traditional botanical garden or greenhouse, the Miracle Garden is more of a showcase of diverse floral masterpieces.
The remarkable botanical masterpiece made its debut on February 14, 2013, coinciding with the celebration of Valentine’s Day. This auspicious timing proved to be pivotal, as, from that moment onward, the garden gained renown as the most romantic attraction not only in the UAE but across the entire Middle East.
Since its inception, the complex has continually evolved, consistently striving for enhancement. Over 150 million flowers of 70 different kinds have been planted on its enormous 72,000 square meter property, which also features an enchanting lake and exquisite floral sculptures created by skilled craftspeople.
Each season, it boasts approximately 50 million flowers, including Sun Flowers, Petunia, Verbena, Geranium, Marigold Flowers, Daisies, and a myriad of others.
The garden boasts an unparalleled array of plant compositions, unlike anything found in the Persian Gulf region and its neighboring countries.
As you wander through the grounds, you’ll encounter a multitude of flower beds, meandering pathways, intricately designed arches, cascading water features, grand floral timepieces, and captivating monuments, all coming together to provide a captivating and life-long encounter.
Awards and Records
It was recognized with the Moselle Award for New Garden Experience of the Year at the Garden Tourism Awards in 2015.
In 2018, it achieved the prestigious “Moselle Award” for being the most beautiful flower garden globally and was also named “Best Attraction” by the Middle East and North Africa Leisure and Attraction Council.
The garden was honored as the “Middle East’s Leading Tourist Attraction” at the 2020 World Travel Awards and received the “Dubai Sustainable Tourism Award” for its outstanding support of environmentally friendly travel strategies in the area. The garden’s walkways cover an impressive 4 kilometers, offering stunning views in every direction.
It also boasts the world’s largest topiary art display, featuring nine iconic Disney characters.
Additionally, the garden is home to the tallest topiary art in the world, an 18-meter-high Mickey Mouse, and the largest flower structure shaped like an Airbus A380 aircraft.
Furthermore, the garden features the world’s longest flower wall, stretching almost one kilometer and adorned with nearly 22 million blooming flowers, as well as one of the largest collections of Petunia flowers, with approximately 50 million in bloom.
Interesting Facts
- Equally remarkable is the use of recycled wastewater for drip irrigation, with an average daily volume exceeding 750,000 liters.
- Every year, a fresh exhibition theme is unveiled to attract new visitors. These themes are all linked to the introduction of new sculptures, such as Disney, Aircraft, Topiary Art, Lost Paradise, and Teddy Bear.
- The attraction’s exceptional quality has garnered recognition from international brands, with The Walt Disney Company being the most prominent collaborator. While the Mickey Mouse Brand and Winnie the Pooh can now be used indefinitely due to copyright expiration, the studio’s assistance has enabled the materialization of other numerous Disney characters.

The designers employed a distinct method in constructing the ceiling, suspending the umbrellas upside down in a circular fashion, with each ring embellished with a variety of lively flowers. To elevate the atmosphere, verdant green plants were interspersed throughout the ceiling, evoking a tropical forest ambiance.
The umbrella walkways not only offer a visually stunning backdrop for photography but also provide a tranquil setting for relaxation. Guests can indulge in delectable cuisine from the extensive food and beverage menu or savor a coffee while leisurely exploring the surroundings.
