Located within the famous Atlantis hotel on the artificial Palm Jumeirah island, Atlantis Aquaventure is the leading water park in Dubai. This massive attraction was unveiled in 2008 and covers 22.5 hectares.

The Atlantis Water Park is open every day from 9:45 AM to 6:30 PM.

Facilities

With more than 1,000 sun loungers, restrooms, changing rooms, and locker rentals, the park provides a variety of conveniences for a restful holiday all day long. 50 AED is the price of a small locker; 85 AED is the price of a bigger one.

Visitors also have the option to rent towels for an additional 35 AED or 75 AED; they may hire both a locker and towels together.

A 1-kilometer stretch of spotlessly clean white sand beach is another venue highlight, and visitor parking is free. Along with that, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, mirrors, and hair dryers are provided in the showers.

Every visitor also gets unique slippers to ensure pleasant strolling and avoid any pain from hot surfaces.

Private cabanas in the park may accommodate groups of 6, 8, 12, or 20 people and are equipped with complimentary towels, lockers, drinking water, fruit platters, cold towels for refreshment, butler service, and fans that can be requested. The Aquaventure Watersports Beach Hut offers rentals for kayaks, hydro scooters, and surfboards.

Additionally, there are 26 dining options, including at least 13 food kiosks serving snacks, ice cream, waffles, poke bowls, churros, smoothies, sorbets, fresh fruits, hot dogs, and pizza in a cone.

Highly regarded restaurants include Barracuda, which serves fried chicken for 60 AED, chicken biryani for 65 AED, and classic burgers for 50 AED. Snapper is a family-friendly restaurant that offers a kids’ menu with tacos priced at 49 AED and burritos beginning at 50 AED. Fish and chips cost 115 AED, pasta carbonara 85 AED, and fruit salad with mint syrup 35 AED at Wavehouse.

Lifeguards are stationed around the park to maintain a controlled and safe atmosphere.

Traditional cooling systems, including overhanging awnings on essential walkways and misting systems, keep people comfortable. A walkway cooling system is another component of the park.

This attraction has the longest ride through an imitation snake structure. It has several complex turns and ends with a large transparent tunnel. This six-person attraction gives riders the chance to interact with gravity as they fall from a height of 14 meters in a single raft. Though the 156-meter downhill seems tiny, riders will experience steep ascents, fast descents, and weightless moments in this brief distance.

Slitherine

The Slitherine water slide stands out as a one-of-a-kind attraction, being the world’s first double descent slide that intersects with the Aquaconda slide at specific points. This slide is considered the most extreme in the Neptune Tower: a descent at a crazy speed, from which your cheeks will shake, through a transparent, almost vertical pipe at the height of a 9-story building, which passes through a pool with numerous predators. You can only go down here alone and without a raft.

Poseidon’s Revenge

At the top of the tower, visitors seeking a thrilling time can find translucent capsules that go down a vertical funnel. Entering the capsule, participants cross their arms over their chests (under strict orders not to change position throughout the descent), and as the door seals shut, the floor falls away, sending them hurtling at 60 km/h down a black abyss. The thrilling ride has “dead loops” and culminates in the bubbly pool at the foot of the tower.

Nestled inside the watery scenery, The Splashers Area is a mysterious water fortress with walls covered in a complex web of pipes that shoot water. It has a lot of intriguing attractions, such as water cannons, tipping buckets, and unexpected water jets.

Surf’s Up and catch some waves at Wavehouse! Develop your flowriding skills and become a surfing pro. The day pass, which can be used from 12 PM until 6 PM, costs 100 AED per person. The price increases to 100 AED per person per hour after 6 PM, with a maximum of 10 visitors per hour. How To Reach

The following arrival options may access the Aquaventure Water Park:

• By car or taxi: To get to the Atlantis Palm Hotel, take The Palm Jumeirah’s central road toward the Atlantis resort. At the roundabout, take the first exit on the right. Parking is accessible in lot P17, which is close to the water park entrance. You can also park your car at Atlantis The Palm, and a shuttle bus will take you to the water park. Alternatively, you may use apps like RTA, Uber, or Careem or hail a cab on the road.

• Choose a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Sunday visit to avoid the crowds. These days, more people usually visit in the afternoon and less in the morning. Generally speaking, on Fridays and Saturdays, more people come in.
• Buy tickets online before your visit to avoid queues at the counter.
• You can take advantage of the discounted offer if you are a resident.
• Check the “How To Enter Aquaventure Water Park For Free” section before you go.
• Rubber slippers are recommended to avoid very painful scorching of the feet, even if complementary unique socks are provided. Not to mention sunscreen, caps or Panama hats, towels (since renting them can get expensive), and an extra set of clothes are also required.
