History and Facts
The World’s Biggest Flower Park, known as the Miracle Garden, has quickly captured the global spotlight since its inception, emerging as a top draw for visitors to Dubai.
Its sheer size is awe-inspiring, but equally remarkable is its unconventional location deep within the desert of the Arjan area in Dubailand, far removed from the emirate’s coastline. Unlike a traditional botanical garden or greenhouse, the Miracle Garden is more of a showcase of diverse floral masterpieces.
The remarkable botanical masterpiece made its debut on February 14, 2013, coinciding with the celebration of Valentine’s Day. This auspicious timing proved to be pivotal, as, from that moment onward, the garden gained renown as the most romantic attraction not only in the UAE but across the entire Middle East.
Since its inception, the complex has continually evolved, consistently striving for enhancement. Over 150 million flowers of 70 different kinds have been planted on its enormous 72,000 square meter property, which also features an enchanting lake and exquisite floral sculptures created by skilled craftspeople.
Each season, it boasts approximately 50 million flowers, including Sun Flowers, Petunia, Verbena, Geranium, Marigold Flowers, Daisies, and a myriad of others.
The garden boasts an unparalleled array of plant compositions, unlike anything found in the Persian Gulf region and its neighboring countries.
As you wander through the grounds, you’ll encounter a multitude of flower beds, meandering pathways, intricately designed arches, cascading water features, grand floral timepieces, and captivating monuments, all coming together to provide a captivating and life-long encounter.
Awards and Records
It was recognized with the Moselle Award for New Garden Experience of the Year at the Garden Tourism Awards in 2015.
In 2018, it achieved the prestigious “Moselle Award” for being the most beautiful flower garden globally and was also named “Best Attraction” by the Middle East and North Africa Leisure and Attraction Council.
The garden was honored as the “Middle East’s Leading Tourist Attraction” at the 2020 World Travel Awards and received the “Dubai Sustainable Tourism Award” for its outstanding support of environmentally friendly travel strategies in the area. The garden’s walkways cover an impressive 4 kilometers, offering stunning views in every direction.
It also boasts the world’s largest topiary art display, featuring nine iconic Disney characters.
Additionally, the garden is home to the tallest topiary art in the world, an 18-meter-high Mickey Mouse, and the largest flower structure shaped like an Airbus A380 aircraft.
Furthermore, the garden features the world’s longest flower wall, stretching almost one kilometer and adorned with nearly 22 million blooming flowers, as well as one of the largest collections of Petunia flowers, with approximately 50 million in bloom.
- Equally remarkable is the use of recycled wastewater for drip irrigation, with an average daily volume exceeding 750,000 liters.
- Every year, a fresh exhibition theme is unveiled to attract new visitors. These themes are all linked to the introduction of new sculptures, such as Disney, Aircraft, Topiary Art, Lost Paradise, and Teddy Bear.
- The attraction’s exceptional quality has garnered recognition from international brands, with The Walt Disney Company being the most prominent collaborator. While the Mickey Mouse Brand and Winnie the Pooh can now be used indefinitely due to copyright expiration, the studio’s assistance has enabled the materialization of other numerous Disney characters.
Popular Attractions at Miracle Garden
An A380 superliner from Emirates Airline arrived at the Dubai Miracle Garden, adorned with over 500,000 fresh flowers and living plants. The world’s biggest floral display takes the form of an airplane, complete with the airline’s logo at a 1/1 scale. This Guinness World Records-listed rendition of the Airbus A380 measures 72 meters in length and 24 meters in height. A special two-level platform for onlookers has been constructed for optimal viewing.

The well-known characters truly spring to life here, with Smurfette’s residence and the timeless battle between good and evil embodied by Gargamel and the mischievous red cat. Additionally, you’ll discover delightful pastel-colored mushroom dwellings nestled amidst beautiful floral displays, along with a captivating photo spot where you can pose on a bicycle adorned with blooming flower baskets.
Furthermore, the addition of a Water Wheel to complement the existing two smaller water wheels, along with an expansion of heartwarming pathways, cozy seating areas, and inviting restaurants. Guests will witness the Smurfs forgoing the FIFA edition and embracing the floral rendition.
The inquiry of “What time is it?” will be met with the remarkable timepiece positioned at the garden’s entrance. With a 15-meter-wide dial made completely of an amazing assortment of multicolored flowers painstakingly arranged in a pattern evoking a traditional clock face, this unique clock is truly remarkable. The clock hands, also fashioned from flowers, further enhance the allure of this already striking work of art.
As you gaze upon this castle, it’s easy to imagine Rapunzel’s long hair cascading from one of its lofty windows. Step into a fairy-tale world and bask in the delightful fragrance of daisies and sunflowers enveloping the surroundings. The 12-meter castle is adorned with an impressive 100,000 flowers, adding to its enchanting allure. As guests stroll through the picturesque pathway, they are treated to the sight of the lively and radiant flowers that grace the elevation. More than that, there are charming figurines depicting various characters.
Floral patterns envelop the valley and boasts charming coffee shops and delightful ice cream kiosks.
This space resembles a haven where numerous Mary Poppins have left behind their exquisite umbrellas ☺ That’s a joke! Although it looks very fancy, the Umbrella Tunnel was made by human hands.
The designers employed a distinct method in constructing the ceiling, suspending the umbrellas upside down in a circular fashion, with each ring embellished with a variety of lively flowers. To elevate the atmosphere, verdant green plants were interspersed throughout the ceiling, evoking a tropical forest ambiance.
The umbrella walkways not only offer a visually stunning backdrop for photography but also provide a tranquil setting for relaxation. Guests can indulge in delectable cuisine from the extensive food and beverage menu or savor a coffee while leisurely exploring the surroundings.
Countless blooms are meticulously arranged to form numerous hearts that collectively create a captivating pathway. The arrangement incorporates white and purple petunias as well as red geraniums.
The gaps between the heart-shaped designs are adorned with luxuriant green shrubbery and towering sunflowers. This locale is ideal for photo opportunities and leisurely romantic strolls through the pathways. However, it is common to encounter individuals seeking to capture the beauty of the setting, so be prepared to join a queue.
A garden is incomplete without its devoted flower enthusiasts. The enchanting arcade exudes a butterfly motif, boasting arches shaped like delicate butterflies adorned with a diverse array of petunias in varying hues.
Each arch is adorned with a distinct color, including white, pink, purple, and red, creating a striking and vibrant contrast. The spacious walkway between the frames provides ample room for visitors, measuring approximately 3 meters in width and nearly 60 centimeters in thickness. The overall length of the passage spans nearly 45 meters from one end to the other.
A sight to behold is the sunflower field in Dubai Miracle Garden, where well-groomed rows of sunflowers create a uniform and beautiful landscape adorned with vivid yellow petals. A breathtaking span of natural beauty is created by the thoughtful arrangement of sunflowers.
3D Floral Design
This is the place where landscape designers’ creativity knows no bounds. A massive lily adorned with blossoms, a vehicle topped with flowers, a white chariot adorned with petunias, enormous mushroom sculptures, red worker ants holding bouquets, massive swans, and a peacock with an extravagant, spread-out tail dazzle with its abundance of flowers.
The area showcases a sumptuous array of blossoms and cascades, offering guests a serene and soothing atmosphere.
There is an entertainment zone for little ones with 2 specially themed inflatable trampolines and other attractions located near the top, close to the 2 horses at Gate 1.
Additionally, they offer a boxing machine as a warm-up activity.
There’s also a basketball and a smash game where participants can win a toy such as a teddy bear, a panda, a shark, or a cheerful banana.
Children can also ride mini motorbikes.
For those not seeking too extreme activities, there’s a bungee jumping trampoline attraction.

Finally, for younger infants, there are small cars available.
Seeking respite from the commotion or a lengthy stroll? To cater to your needs, the garden has arranged exclusive seating spots – a cabana section featuring plush sofas, wicker blooms atop white pillars, and canopies, all enveloped by lush foliage and blossoms.
Right from the start of the trek, an uplifting atmosphere is set as visitors encounter a sculpture near Gate 2 – an arch resembling a sizable turtle, with its shell serving as a genuine masterpiece of landscape art.
