Hilton The Palm Jumeirah Review + Real Photos Inside

Before I will share Hilton The Palm Jumeirah review, I would like to provide some facts about this hotel.

It is a brand-new five-star hotel that was opened on the 31st of August 2022.

Located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah, it is only 35 km away from Dubai International Airport.

The hotel boasts a private beach, a large outdoor pool with jacuzzi areas, multiple on-site dining options, a spa, a gym, and some kid’s facilities like a kid’s pool, a kids club, and a playground.

Hilton Palm Jumeirah has 608 guest rooms and suites, all set against the spectacular backdrop of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai Marina skyline.

Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah has received the AUBERGE AWARD 2023 from BERLINER TAGEZEITUNG which is only for excellent top hotels that offer only the best in standard, facilities, and luxury.

Our story begins with that I have found a great staycation offer on the hotel’s website. It promised an early check-in,  late check-out, daily breakfast, AED 200 credit, a 20% discount on additional F&B spend, and a 20% discount on Eforea Spa.

That was a really good deal.

So we arrived at 11 am and we were immediately given the promised room. Also, we were gifted with dates in a branded pack. A pleasant little detail.

Accommodation

Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. All rooms are non-smoking.

What options are available:

• Guest Rooms (40 sq. m./431 sq. ft) –

• Executive Rooms (40 sq. m./431 sq. ft.)
• Suite (86 sq. m./926 sq. ft)
• Royal Suite With A Bar And Sauna (390 sq. m./4198 sq. ft)
• Presidential Suite  With Terrace, Outdoor Bar, Sun Deck, Kitchen And Whirlpool (220 sq. m./2368 sq. ft
• Imperial Suite With Terrace,  Bar, Kitchen, Whirlpool, And Sauna (352 sq. m./3789 sq. ft,)

Also, they provide connecting rooms for families.

All the rooms have a balcony and a partial or full sea view.

We traveled with our daughter (9 y.o) and chose a King Deluxe Room With a Sea View.

The first room we got was on the second floor just over the CLAW BBQ bar.

We checked the working hours of this bar and decided to change the room as it could be very noisy at night.

As we asked the staff, they immediately provided us with an alternative.

The room we finally moved in was well-furnished and clean.

Though the sofa which was supposed to be a bed for my daughter wasn’t made. I called at the reception and asked them to make the bed for her and my request was fulfilled immediately as well.

What was also there in the room:

• Kettle
• Minibar
• Safety deposit box
• TV
• AC
• Bathrobe, Slippers

For those who care we had both a bathtub and a shower in the bathroom.

I really appreciated the smell and the quality of toiletries there.

Note that pets are not allowed at the hotel.

Food&Dining options

The Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah is home to several dining outlets offering unique atmospheres, allowing guests to choose the perfect setting for their dining experience.

If you have chosen BB or HB options you will have an international breakfast buffet at Mowsem on the Ground Floor.

You can expect a wide range of dishes like eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, pastries, and more.

Also, I noticed some stations with special dietary needs such as gluten-free, vegetarian, halal, and dairy-free. The hotel also offers a kid-friendly menu.

If you have chosen HB or FB option for lunch/dinner you are eligible to choose from one of the following restaurants or enjoy an international buffet at Mowsem.

As for service, it was excellent. The staff was really helpful. providing all the necessary information, service, prompt response time, and solving all the issues.

Restaurants&Bars

Alcoholic drinks are served in this hotel.

• Mowsem: Mowsem offers international cuisine, including a breakfast buffet and an à la carte menu for lunch and dinner. The restaurant can accommodate special dietary needs such as gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, halal, and dairy-free.
• Jones the Grocer: Jones the Grocer offers contemporary Australian cuisine with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a variety of options to choose from.
• Barfly by Buddha-Bar: Barfly by Buddha-Bar is an award-winning rooftop restaurant and lounge. It offers a pan-Asian cuisine with a modern twist. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes, including sushi, sashimi, dim sum, and more. The bar also offers a selection of cocktails and other drinks.  The age policy at Buddha-Bar Dubai is strictly 12 years old and above.
• Claw BBQ: Claw BBQ offers an American-style barbecue cuisine, including smoked meats, burgers, and seafood. The restaurant also serves a variety of sides and desserts. Claw BBQ is a popular spot for watching sports, with multiple TVs throughout the restaurant. The place also features a mechanical bull, lassoing, and other rodeo-inspired activities.
• McGettigan’s: McGettigan’s is an Irish pub that offers a variety of pub food, including burgers, sandwiches, and traditional Irish dishes. The restaurant also serves a variety of drinks, including beer, wine, and cocktails.
• Trader Vic’s & Tahitian Village: Trader Vic’s & Tahitian Village offers Polynesian cuisine with a focus on seafood and meats prepared in a Chinese wood-fired oven. The restaurant also serves a variety of signature cocktails and other drinks.
• SocialBee: SocialBee is a café that offers a variety of coffee, tea, and light bites, including sandwiches, salads, and pastries. The café also serves a selection of smoothies and other drinks.

Pool

You will definitely enjoy the 65-meter-long swimming pool with the ocean view. It also has 2 separate sparkling areas for adults and families.

The pool is temperature-controlled so you can enjoy it all year round.

In the center of the pool, you will find Zing Beach Bar & Pool Bar where you can have some snacks or drinks (even alcoholic ones) while sitting in the pool.

There are plenty of sun loungers and cabanas near the pool. Each has a QR code to make an order from the pool Bar so you can be easily served.

The only thing I didn’t like about the pool area was that nobody helped us to find a place and bottles of water were limited (2 per person per day).

Beach

The beach is wide and clean with a nice view of Dubai Marina Skyline and Emaar Beachfront.

It is equipped with everything you may need: sunbeds, umbrellas, cabanas, and towels for guests to use.

And certainly, lifeguards are always on duty.

For Kids

Kids Club

The Kids Club is available for kids 2-10 years old. It offers a variety of activities for children to enjoy, including arts and crafts, games, movies, and more.

The center features a pirate theme, with activities such as treasure hunts and pirate-themed games.

Kids are supervised by experienced staff who ensure the safety of your kids.

Playground

Hilton Palm Jumeirah has a shaded playground that is designed for children to enjoy. The playground is equipped with a variety of play equipment, including slides, swings, climbing structures, and more.

Kids Pool

The kid’s pool is quite small shallow and safe for children to play. The good things are that it is shaded, lifeguards are always on duty and it is clean.

It is conveniently located between the beach, main pool, and kids club, making it an accessible option for families with children.

One thing you need to consider is that the territory of the hotel itself is quite small. However, Palm West Beach and central Palm Jumeirah are accessible for walking.

Sport And Wellness

Gym

The gym is equipped with state-of-the-art cardio and strength-training equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, weight machines, and free weights.

Overlooking the beach and the Arabian Gulf, guests can enjoy scenic views during their workout.

It also offers a variety of group fitness classes, including yoga, Pilates, and HIIT classes.

The gym is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, allowing guests to work out at their convenience.

You can enjoy a luxurious spa without leaving the hotel.

• 8 treatment rooms: The spa has 8 treatment rooms that are designed to provide guests with a tranquil environment. Each room is equipped with comfortable furnishings and soothing lighting to help guests relax during their treatment.
• Private thermal lounges: The spa offers private thermal lounges that include a salt sauna, aroma steam, a hydro pool, an ice fountain, and heated loungers. These lounges are designed to help guests detoxify and relax, providing a unique and rejuvenating experience.

Based on the reviews people notice the following pros:

• Beautiful location with stunning views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline
• Well-maintained and clean facilities, including the beach, pool, and spa
• Friendly and helpful staff who provide a high level of service
• Variety of amenities and activities, including water sports, kids’ club, and fitness center
• Comfortable and spacious rooms with modern amenities

Based on the reviews people notice the following cons:

• Slow service at restaurants and bars
• Noise levels in certain rooms
• The quality of food at certain restaurants
• The cost of certain amenities and services

I would agree with all the pros and notice:

• Great location
• Great service
• Excellent dining options
• Contemporary design
• Cleanliness

As for cons, I didn’t face anything from the list so cannot confirm.

I would recommend this hotel for couples, solo travelers, and for families without kids.

As a member of Hilton Honors (Hilton Loyalty Program) I havve got points for this stay. I can use them to pay for the next one or for any hotel service. So i would recommend you to register there before your stay to save some points.

• By taxi: Taxis are readily available in Dubai and can be hailed from anywhere in the city.
• By bus: The nearest bus stop is Palm Jumeirah Monorail Station. You can check Rome2Rio to find the best route.
• By hotel shuttle/transfer: The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from Dubai International Airport.

If you are going by your own car, take note that there is a free Valet parking service for hotel guests. Good news: it is covered. Bad news: sometimes the area is congested, so it may take time to get your car.
