Kite Beach Umm Al Quwain Overview
With a private beach, dining options, a kitesurfing and surfing school, rental huts, a camping area, and outdoor sports facilities, this beach club offers a private retreat. It is well known for being Umm Al Quwain’s first officially recognized kitesurfing school opened in 2021.
Mr. Sultan Al Ali, the beach club’s owner, created it to capture the spirit of beaches in California, Bali, and Zanzibar. Mr. Al Ali is committed to establishing the beach club as a gathering place for surfers and other sports enthusiasts, while also serving families with kids and even pets.
He has over ten years of experience as a qualified kitesurfing instructor and a particular passion for surfing. To demonstrate his dedication, he often posts training footage of Kite Beach’s Tarzan Gym on Instagram with his cherished Australian Shepherd.
Kite Beach in Umm Al Quwain is a pristine coastal area characterized by its clean beach, gradual entry into the water, soft white sand, and expansive shallow waters. For those who enjoy kitesurfing in particular, its good wave conditions have made it popular among many.
Furthermore, fast wifi guarantees that guests may maintain connectivity while relaxing by the beach. While it is accepted that basic amenities like showers and toilets are provided, the huge amount of visitors call for more frequent maintenance and improvements, which usually results in lines for the showers, particularly on weekends.
Using wood accents to bring out its natural charm and blend in with the sandy setting, the beach club houses a little cafe and restaurant with a grill. Beautiful ocean views are provided by its thoughtful design and laid-back atmosphere, and the addition of kite-themed accents gives the whole design an eccentric and whimsical feel.
Notably, Kite Beach is pet-friendly, letting dogs and cats run around unrestricted, swim, and engage in sports like frisbee games with their owners. It even offers a specialized menu for animals and grooming services, with basic grooming prices starting at 75 AED for small dogs, 85 AED for medium-sized dogs, and 100 AED for large dogs.
Full grooming services are also available at varying rates, along with toothbrushing services for a nominal fee of 15 AED. Grooming services for cats are also provided at a competitive rate of 85 AED for a full grooming session.

Five beach houses with wonderful views of the beach and ocean are for rent; each has a second floor and balcony for people looking for comfort and seclusion.
In addition, the area has hammocks, lounging sections, and private showers, making them the ideal place to unwind after participating in water activities and to escape the sun.

Tips
- This guidance may unsettle those who prefer a later start, but arriving early is advised to secure a prime location that has not yet been occupied by other beachgoers.
- If you are unable to find a sunbed or umbrella, please ask the staff and they will help you.
- The weekdays are recommended for a visit, as there tend to be fewer visitors during this time.
- In the event of difficulty finding seating or a place to relax, do not hesitate to approach a staff member, who will gladly arrange for an umbrella and sunbeds.
- Consider bringing along snacks, water (available from the beach’s restaurant), and outdoor entertainment such as rackets, balls, or board games.
- Remember to pack towels (not provided with admission) and water for your four-legged companions.
- Be responsible for cleaning up after your pet, ensuring you have bags or scoops for waste disposal.
- Be vigilant in monitoring your canine companions, as instances of small dogs being taken from the beach have been reported. Take note that other animals can be dangerous too.
- If you are aware that your pet exhibits aggression towards other animals, it is advisable to keep them on a leash or consider using a muzzle, especially for larger dogs.
- To prevent sunstroke, remember to wear a wide-brimmed hat, stay hydrated by drinking ample water, and seek out shaded areas. Finding places shaded to protect furry kids from the intense sun is a smart idea because, as we all know, animals may become ill from the heat as well.
- Be mindful of potential mosquito activity during the evening hours. If you happen to forget mosquito repellent, it can be obtained from the front desk for your convenience.
